Two Options For The Football Consultancy Role Within The Club

The new board want to run the club in a professional manner. On the changing nature and demand for football consulting, they have started talks with Dutch and Italian football experts; Sjaak Swart and Ariedo Braida.

Ariedo Braida

The 73-year old Italian football professional had been working for AC Milan as their director of football before he signed for Barcelona in 2015. Braida, who is still Barcelona’s international advisor for scouting, wants a wage of €100k per annum.

Braida has said that he has a busy schedule and can only come to Istanbul on matchdays.

Sjaak Swart

Another option for the role is the 81-year old Dutch legend Sjaak Swart, aka “Mr. Ajax”, is also in talks with Beşiktaş. Swart worked in Ajax Academy for many years. On the other hand, the board have some concerns about his working principles.
